Wi-Fi Setup Guide

Follow these steps to configure your OcuTrap device to connect to a Wi-Fi network.

Step 1: Access the OcuTrap Device Management Interface

  1. Open the OcuTrap Management Interface on your computer or smartphone.

  2. Select Your Trap

Step 2: Open the Settings Menu

  1. Click on the "Settings" Button in the trap management panel.

Step 3: Configure Wi-Fi Settings

  1. Enter the Wi-Fi Network SSID in the "Wi-Fi Name" field.

  2. Enter the Wi-Fi Network Password in the "Password" field.

  3. Select the Wi-Fi Authentication Type if needed from the "Advanced" dropdown (WPA2, WPA, or WEP). This will default to WPA2 which is the standard for most Wi-Fi networks.

  4. Save the Settings by clicking the "Save" button.

Step 4: Verify the Connection

  1. Restart your OcuTrap device to apply the new settings.

  2. Check the Connection Status in the OcuTrap management interface.

Troubleshooting Tips

  • Double-check SSID and password.

  • Ensure Wi-Fi network is operational.

  • Verify the authentication type matches your network.

When enabled, OcuTrap will try to connect to Wi-Fi. If it has trouble connecting, it will fall back to cellular.
