Logs
Every trap keeps a running history of what it has done, so you can troubleshoot, monitor performance, and see exactly what happened and when. In the app this history is the trap's Activity feed.
Where to find it
Open a trap and select the Activity tab on the trap detail page. Entries are grouped by day, newest first, and each row shows an icon, a short label, an optional detail message, and a timestamp.
To review activity across all of your traps at once, use the account-level Activity page, which combines events from every trap you own or manage.
Filtering the feed
A row of chips at the top of the Activity tab lets you narrow the feed:
- All — every event
- Images — new captures and photos
- Alerts — pre-capture, temperature, battery, and device alerts
- Heartbeats — connectivity and check-in events (online/offline, cellular)
- Commands — remote commands you sent and their results
- Settings — settings changes
What gets recorded
The Activity feed records the events that matter for operating and troubleshooting a trap, including:
- Captures — a new capture/detection, with its photo.
- Remote commands — commands sent from the app (open/close door, set arm mode, disarm & release, request image, request location, buzzer, reboot, sleep/hibernate), along with whether each command was confirmed or failed.
- Arm-mode and settings changes — when the trap is switched between Unarmed, Scouting, and Armed, and when device settings are changed.
- Alerts — pre-capture alerts, low-battery warnings, and high/low temperature alerts.
- Connectivity — when the trap goes online or offline and cellular connect/disconnect events.
- Sharing — when a trap is shared, a share is removed, or an invite is accepted.
- Subscription and billing — subscription and payment events, and ownership or billing transfers.
Errors and device faults appear in the feed as alerts (shown with a red indicator) so they're easy to spot. If you contact support, the Activity feed is a good place to note the last events and their timestamps.
