Resetting Password
Reset a forgotten password from the email OcuTrap sends. Includes the backup 32-character reset code and what to do if the button fails.
If you forget your password, you can reset it from the email we send you:
- Go to app.ocutrap.com and click Forgot password?
- Enter your email and click Send Reset Code.
- Open the email and click Reset Password. The page opens headed Choose a new password, already knowing your email and code.
- Enter your new password, confirm it, and submit. When you see Password reset complete, sign in with your new password.
Your password is kept in sync across the web and mobile apps, so the new password works everywhere.
If the Button Doesn't Work
Some mail apps strip buttons out. The email carries a reset code underneath as a backup:
- Back in the app, click Enter Reset Code.
- Copy the code from the email and paste it in, then enter your new password.
The code is long (32 characters of mixed letters and numbers), so copy and paste it rather than typing it. It is also case-sensitive. If your phone capitalizes the first character for you, the code stops working, so check the first letter after pasting.
Codes are single use. If one is rejected, click Didn't receive a code? Send again and use the newest email.
