Organizations and billing
Who pays for a trap in an organization: the trap's owner. How a company sets up billing, and how organization billing that already exists ends.

The trap's owner pays for each trap. An organization gives people access to traps; it does not change who pays.
- Adding a trap to an organization shares it. It does not change who pays. The trap stays on its owner's subscription and payment method.

Billing for a company
If a company runs the traps, use one company account to own them:
- Sign in with the company's account and add the traps to it.
- Add the company's card on the Billing page. Each trap is billed to that card.
- Invite staff to the organization. They use the traps without paying for them.
Organization billing is no longer offered
Organization billing is no longer offered. If an organization already pays for a trap, its primary owner can stop that on the trap's Billing page, and the trap's owner then subscribes it.
Stop organization billing
Only the organization's primary owner can do this.
- Sign in at base.ocutrap.com.
- Select Billing in the sidebar, find the trap under Per-trap status, and select Manage.
- Select Stop organization billing, then confirm.
The organization pays for the trap until the end of the paid period. Nothing is refunded. After that date the trap has no subscription until its owner subscribes it: Close, Arm, and image commands are off until then. Open door, Disarm & release, and Ping still work.
Changed your mind? Before that date, select Keep organization billing on the same page.
After organization billing ends
The trap's owner subscribes the trap on its Billing page, like any other trap. See Managing your subscription. The 30-day free trial is only for a trap's first subscription, so it does not apply here.
Removing the trap from the organization
A trap the organization pays for stays in the organization until that subscription is canceled. Stop organization billing first; once it has ended, the trap can be removed.
