Sharing Traps

You can share a trap with another OcuTrap account for remote monitoring and control.

Requirements

• The user sharing the trap must have an OcuTrap account.
• The recipient must also have an OcuTrap account with a valid email address.

How to Share a Trap

1. Log into your OcuTrap account and open the trap you want to share.
2. Open the trap's Sharing tab.
3. Enter the recipient’s valid email address.
4. If you're the trap owner, choose the manager level for this person: Standard Manager or Full Manager (see User Levels).
5. Send the invitation.

You cannot share with yourself or double-share the same trap.

Pending invites

Sharing sends the recipient an email invitation. Until they accept it, they appear in the trap's Shared With list with a Pending indicator. They don't have access to the trap yet. Once they accept from their email, the trap shows up in their account with the access level you chose.

You stay in control of every share at any time:

• Cancel invite: remove a pending invitation before it's accepted.
• Remove access: revoke an accepted user's access whenever you need to.

Trap owners and managers can cancel a pending invite or revoke access at any time.
